In the FUCKING FREEZING (Photoshoot) post I stated I would dye my hair pink - well, I did it, as facebook followers may already know :)
I documented the before-after-effect with some photos, since I thought some of you may be interested in my transformation because of hair-dying-issues like hair damage or what extreme colours like pink actually look like.
As you can see, before dying it my hair was mostly dark brown, my natural colour:
It was also pretty healthy and, therefore, strong and shiny.
The lower parts of my hair were way lighter than my natural colour, because I dyed with henna some years ago and the henna never really got washed out.
So, this is what I look like now:
I actually went for a much lighter pink, but my hairdresser said the colour would start fading after about two months and it would be better to make it intense, so it lasts longer. Fortunately, I really like it as it is now and eventually my hair will get exactly the way I originally wanted it to be.
The hair damage wasn't too bad, my hair is still shiny, feels soft and there are not too many split ends. It actually is a lot healthier than I had expected it to be.
